OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Tuesday saw us reach 90 degrees in the metro for the first time this year.

Today, we will go even warmer as we top out near 94 degrees.

There will be some mugginess in the air as well, making it feel a few degrees warmer than the actual temperature.

A blustery wind will be in place too with gusts that could reach 35 miles per hour.

While storms will be active to our north, we look to miss out on this round.

Thursday will be similar with storms off to our south.

In the afternoon, though, a front will come through the area and knock our humidity down some.

However, partway through our Friday, that mugginess will come right back into the area.

The good news is that Friday gives us a slight break with highs in the mid 80s.

By Friday night, storm chances will return to the area, arriving around midnight.

Scattered storms will remain possible through our Saturday and into Sunday morning.

There will be some dry windows over the weekend too; just know that it will be hot and muggy in those afternoon hours.
