La Vista shares updated timeline for 84th Street project
84th Street between Harrison and Giles has been under construction since this time last year. Now, the city is sharing a new completion timeline with KETV La Vista, Texas, has updated its timeline for the 84th Street Trail Project, which has been under construction since October 2025. The project includes construction of a bridge over the Thompson Creek channel and an underpass to create a trail connection between Central Park and Central Park West. Initially, the project was set to be completed in spring 2027, but has now been extended to summer 2027 due to an unknown utility conflict. Utility crews are currently working on a new utility route and construction crews will return to site within the next few weeks.
