LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Singing sensation Bryan Olesen performed at his homecoming concert in Lincoln on Tuesday, inaugurating a show he plans to take on the road with ‘The Voice’ co-star Nathan Chester.

The last time Olesen sang in front of a crowd in the Bourbon Theater, it was at a watch party, celebrating his appearance on ‘The Voice’ as he advanced. Tuesday, it was about celebrating his third place finish.

However, Olesen didn’t take the stage alone.

Chester, who first battled Olesen in an early episode of ‘The Voice’ and went on to win fourth place, performed for his first time in the Capital City.

“I’m so excited,” Chester said. “The people of Lincoln have been so kind to me since I’ve gotten here.”

They said they hit it off right away, and that they plan to keep the showing going.

“I love being with good people, and Nathan is one of the best,” Olesen said. “And you know, to get to do what we do, to encourage each other. He makes me better.”

Olesen sang the song that catapulted him to national fame, OneRepublic’s “Love Runs Out,” and then at the end, both singers sang their battle song, Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.”

“It’s a beautiful feeling,” Olesen said. “And I’m grateful to represent Lincoln and Nebraska. And we’re just going to feel that joy tonight.”
