Council Bluffs man arrested for crash that killed Omaha woman
Council Bluffs police said the man accused in a crash that killed an Omaha woman was driving drunk and had marijuana in his system. Council Bluffs man, Dennis Stark, is accused of killing an Omaha woman, Heidi Divis, in a crash that occurred on Nov. 6. The crash occurred at the intersection of Kanesville Boulevard and Eighth Street. Stark, 72, was driving a 2009 Kia Sportage and was found guilty of homicide by vehicle. Police found signs of impairment and issued a search warrant for Stark's blood. Toxicology results revealed that Stark had a 0.127 blood alcohol content and marijuana in his system during the fatal crash.
