This marks the second consecutive time Providence College has hosted UConn at the AMP, marking a back-to-back season. The Friars last defeated UConn in 1993, with an 87-73 victory over them. The team has won 16 games over nationally-ranked opponents all-time, including victories over No. 5/9 NC State and No. 9 Cheyney State.
