Firefighters rescue man who fell through ceiling in south Lincoln recycling center
First responders were called to a recycling center near 14th Street and Nebraska Parkway after a man fell through the ceiling Tuesday afternoon. A worker at American Recycling in Lincoln, Nebraska, fell through the ceiling at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Firefighters were called to the scene and used a rope and basket to free him. The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - First responders were called to a recycling center near 14th Street and Nebraska Parkway after a man fell through the ceiling Tuesday afternoon. The incident happened at American Recycling around 1 p.m.
According to Lincoln Fire and Rescue, a worker was in a storage space when one of his legs went through the drywall ceiling. Firefighters used a rope and basket to help free him, so that he didn’t have to use a ladder to get down.
The man was taken to a local hospital to get checked out.
